September Field Trip and Potluck – September 30th at 8:00 am
September Field Trip/Potluck
September 30th, 8 am Whitman Mission
Mark your calendars for a fun field trip/get together on September 30th. We’ll meet at the Whitman Mission and wander through the Doan creek riparian area, check out the beaver pond wetland and meander across the grasslands to the Walla Walla river. Climbing monument hill, we’ll be rewarded with beautiful views of the area and the Blues, and hopefully birds eye views of soaring hawks. With all this variety in habitats, we’re sure to find some amazing birds.
Afterwards, around 10, we will meet in the covered area for a potluck get together. So bring the family, your binocs, and a picnic treat. It’s guaranteed to be a fun morning full of birds and fellow birders.
