April is Native Plant Month!

From Friends of McNary Wildlife Refuge, two events –Zoom presentations with time for Q & A:

April 15, 6:00pm, Thursday

Heather Wendt and Ernie Crediford – Our local native plants of Eastern Washington and how to incorporate them into our own landscapes.

Gretchen Graber – An environmental scientist presents her latest project, YEER (see details on the Friends of McNary website below).

 

April 22nd, 6pm, Thursday

Lisa Hill – Watercolor demonstration of Balsamroot and Lupine. She is a horticulturist, Master Gardener and avid bird-watcher who has been painting with watercolor since 2007. Watercolor painting “Carey’s Balsamroot” by Lisa Hill.
